Two For The Price Of One

I like it when you get to kill two birds with one stone on the job. On Saturday night, I was hired to take photographs of a private party my client Crisp Catering was also catering. Since Crisp Catering did not hire me to take photos, my obligation was to the hostess of the party first and foremost. So my first duty was to take the candid and posed photos that she wanted. But since I was moving throughout the party snapping photos, I was also able to snap a few of Crisp Catering in action. Unfortunately, the hostess didn’t want photos of the dinner portion of the event, so I had to leave then. Bummer, cause I was not able to take photos of the what I’m sure was a beautiful plated dinner service. But from everything I’ve heard about the party, Crisp Catering did an excellent job and was a huge hit.

(Okay, I admit it. I hung out a little in the kitchen and sampled some of the hors d’oeuvres. Eating my restaurant client’s food is my favorite part of my job.)
